The main infrastructure of TIBA is developed for receiving guests and students up to 40 people, adding separate housings for crew and apprentices. All recreational, dining, lecture, meditation and workshop spaces are conceived for a optimal work-and-learn experience.

The principal/mainhouse of 9 rooms, with a total capacity of 24 people is accommodating most of the participants, then there are an housing complex residing also the instructors, extending the limit to over 30 places.
Since lately a memorial space devoted to Johan van Lengens and Rose van Lengen Proenca, exists as part of the collective office and meeting room. It showcases a selection of visual documents and written word from both their occupations and research, consecutivel... in architecture and visual arts, and offers more insights into their shared project, TIBA, in the founding times of the institute.
Thanks to culinary experimentar Aga van Lengen and highly reliable chief-cook Gislene Aparecida, the food varies with each workshop held in TIBA. Without exaggeration one can say that it is served in all shapes and colors (though blue might be missing). But above all it is plenty of pleasure with delicious food, that keeps you in a good mood, strong and focused during the workshop. The dishes are mainly vegetarian, to a part also ovo-lacto-vegeterian.
Mushroom risottos, quich with taioba, aloo gobi, gyros tzaziki, salads with green mamao, guacamole, Thai curry with chu-chu, tagliatelle with banana navel, various homemade marmalades from local fruits and the Brazilian classics. ..an encounter with professor Valdely Kinupp, researcher and popularizer of unconventional edible plants. Author of the PANC compendium book, collecting 351 plants completely neglected as source of alimentation and culinary innovation. Kinupp´s studies indicate over 10 thousand of PANCs solely in Brazil, and 50 thousand are assumed to be found worldwide. The PANC workshop in TIBA is a revelation of that potential - where over the stretch of a few meters, Kinupp identifies dozens of these plants, while delivering most surprising experiences to the tastebuds of his students.
